INTENDED APPLICATION
CEKOL C-35 is a high-quality compound for smoothening, levelling off and improving the surface of external building walls (façades).
It can be applied also in rooms, particularly those with high humidity levels (e.g. bathrooms, saunas, cool storage rooms).CEKOL C-35 enables achieving smooth surfaces. It is suitable for both manual and machine application.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The render adheres excellently to concrete, bricks, aerated concrete, expanded clay blocks, gypsum boards and blocks. The substrate should be clean, compact, capable of carrying load and free of grease. Paint residues, loose grains of sand or plaster, as well as all layers that are not permanently attached to the surface must be removed. Absorptive substrates need to be primed with CEKOL DL-80. Before applying the render on an ETICS reinforcement layer, prime the substrate with CEKOL GB-87.
PROPERTIES
CEKOL C-35 is a water- and frost-resistant mortar. It is a dry mixture of high-quality white cement, white mineral fillers and modifiers that ensure excellent workability and adhesion to mineral substrates (e.g. concrete, bricks, aerated concrete, etc.).CEKOL C-35 does not contain any toxic substances or ingredients that would turn yellow when exposed to light or weather conditions. It is an excellent undercoat for emulsion, acrylic, silicate, silicone and mineral paints. Its white colour decreases the number of paint coats required for achieving full colour effect. CEKOL C-35 is recommended as the render layer in ETICSs.
APPLICATION
Pour the bag contents into a properly measured amount of water and stir gently. Use ca. 0.4 litres of water per 1 kg of dry powder. Wait for ca. 3 minutes and stir the mixture thoroughly again until you obtain uniform mass. Apply the mortar on the substrate with clean stainless steel or plastic tools. Finishing touches on the surface are possible after the mass initially sets and dries. Apply layers not thicker than 5 mm. The surface may be painted after it sets and dries entirely. A fresh render layer should be protected against excessive drying.
